August 15 & 16

Headliner:
Kelly Terranova

When Kelly Terranova takes the stage, as he has done in more than 200 cities and towns nationwide, audiences are taken on a fast, energetic and slightly cynical look at America's pop culture icons...from our bizarre fascination with figure skating to NASCAR racing to riverboat gambling. A former radio talk show host, Terranova's material is often culled from today's headlines...there's no time for this "routine" to get routine. Terranova is known as a skilled comedian who features playful audience interaction to making each show unique... which isn't to say that he can't be provoked. He'll say "nice doggie", but he's got a rock in his pocket! Kelly was a finalist in both the FunnyBone Comedy Club's 2004 World Series of Comedy and Carnival Cruise Line's 2006 Carnival Comedy Challenge. Kelly has appeared with Michael Bolton, The Doobie Brothers, Jim Breuer, Brett Butler and Jake Johannsen.

Feature:
D. Cameron

D. Cameron is traveling from comedy club to comedy club spreading good clean (slightly risqué) comedy like the flu. People talk about the way he makes them laugh without even uttering any word close to profanity. Which is making his mission to become the next Jell-O Pudding man (when Bill Cosby retires) all the more within reach. D. Cameron's part time job of being a substitute teacher gives him the fuel that ignites a fire of pure truthful funny. He paints a picture of middle school life that will have you saying "how in the world did he become a substitute teacher" and "how can I get him to substitute at my child's school. This entertaining comedian is a refreshing change with a unique way of looking at child rearing, romance, and everyday living. You'll know him when you see him because he'll be wearing a hat, a smile, and he'll charm the pants right off of you.

August 22 & 23

Headliner:
Jim Holder

Jim Holder is an 18-year veteran of stand-up comedy who has headlined comedy clubs from coast-to-coast. Jim started his career at The Comedy Workshop in Houston, Texas, home of the "Texas Outlaw Comics" such as Sam Kinison and Bill Hicks. "Bill Hicks was the first non-famous comic I ever saw live and it changed the way I thought about comedy forever! The Outlaw Comics didn't look like comedians I saw on TV. These guys owned the stage like rock stars! You never knew what was going to happen next!" From those early influences, Jim developed the passion for stand-up comedy that he carries today. With an attitude aimed at making people laugh uncontrollably, Jim strikes incredibly close to home with his cynical descriptions of everyday subjects. His comedy is sometimes silly and hard-hitting, often spontaneous and interactive, but always funny. The question Jim receives most often after his show is "When are you coming"

Otherwise known as "The Maverick," Jason brings the dark side of the straight edge to stand up comedy. Through the use and abuse of his hard knocks life, this poster child of new school stand up unloads his day-to-day observational humor involving life, family, and friends onto every audience. Whether it be performing for a comedy club, private party, or a court appearance, Jason's unique blend of humor and down to earth style help him to connect with all walks of life.
