Mark has spent his entire life in the south. His "Southern...not stupid" tour has been taking clubs
by storm all across the country and at the same time, erasing the myth that all southerners are a bunch of inbred
pig farmers!
Mark brings a perfect blend of humor and sarcasm which points out the lighter side of the dumb things we see and
hear everyday. As he puts it, "We all either cause, or suffer from these random acts of stupidity! The humor is in
finding out which one of these two categories we fall into." His fresh approach not only leaves them laughing in
the aisles, but hopefully a little bit wiser!
Along with the popularity and respect Mark has earned over the years, his tours have taken him to many different
venues. Comedy clubs, Colleges, Casinos, Corporate Functions and Cruise Ships have all welcomed him back time and
time again. Best of all, his PG-17 sense of humor offends no one, and entertains everyone!

Adopted at 3 days old into a skinny family this chubby little girl developed a sense of humor at a very early age. It served her well when she ventured out into the world.
The perpetual class clown throughout school got her nominated in her senior year as "Never To Be Forgotten". In her work life people would gather around her instead of the water cooler and socially she was always the life of the party. She grew up an Army Brat which took her and her family from Alaska to Maryland and many places in between. This gave her an opportunity to see the world from many different perspectives and helped her to never meet a stranger. As a child constantly going from school to school she soon found out that if she made her class mates laugh then she was accepted as one of them. Thus the beginnings of a comic in training.
Having went to work for Ma Bell aka AT&T, at the age of 22 she started in The AT&T Phone Center where her customers were her audience. One year she went to North Carolina on vacation and discovered Sweet Tea, Grits and Hush Puppies and a love affair was born. So in 1987 she loaded up the truck and moved to Burnsville N.C. As her career moved on she moved to Charlotte into an office environment. Again, using humor to fit in she was asked to participate in the AT&T Company Picnic talent show as she was always yucking it up with her co-workers on break. The day of the talent show came and as her stand-up comedy debut was gearing up she was about to pass out from fear as there were over 700 people in the audience. She had a five minute skit that she did in 50 seconds sounding much like an auctioneer. And even though she rushed through it she was well received by the audience which started the comedy bug in her in a big way. She had been told most of her life that she was so funny she should be a comic. So she called The Comedy Zone in Charlotte to ask if they had an Open Mike night as she wanted to experience that adrenaline rush again. The Comedy Zone advised they did not have Open Mike but they did have a comedy school that she was welcome to attend that, which could lead to getting comedy gigs, so she went for it. Through the class she was given her break into professional Stand-up Comedy, this was in 1993. She has worked with such greats as, Brian Regan, Bob Sagett, Chris Rock, Carrott Top, Joe Piscapo, Mike Winslow, Travis Tritt and many others.
